When you see the word "organic" on fruits, vegetables, or meat, it means the food was grown or raised in a natural, healthy way.
Organic farming is about working with nature, not against it. It's a smart way to grow food that helps farmers, families, and the Earth.
Organic agriculture
Organic agriculture is a way of growing food that is good for people, animals, and the planet. Farmers who use organic methods do not use man-made chemicals to help plants grow or to kill bugs. Instead, they use natural ways, like compost, manure, or helpful insects.
In organic farming, the soil is very important. Farmers keep the soil healthy by growing different crops in each season and not using harmful sprays. This helps plants grow strong and protects the land for the future.
Organic food is often fresher and safer because it doesn't have chemical leftovers. It also helps nature by keeping water clean and helping bees, birds, and other animals live safely.
